Bottle 787 - Catching Butterflies

The following whimsey is inside a 1.75 Liter Knob Creek Bourbon bottle. It is 12 inches tall if the stopper is included. The whimsey is of a women trying to catch a Monarch Butterfly with a net. The butterfly is suspended from the locking mechanism of the stopper. The rest of the stopper is made of tree branches with a semi-sphere on top. The women is running in green boots past a turtle, frog and a coral snake. There are cattails in the background and a mixture of yellow and red flowers in the foreground. On the central shaft of the locking mechanism is the written the name, place and time of origin: Steve Moseley, St. Louis and 2009.
