Pictorial Guide to Building Watership in a Bottle
- by Frans Dekker
The following is a pictorial guide showing the steps Frans Dekker took in building his Watership in a Bottle. In its early years it was referred to as a fishing ship but now it is called a Watership. It was develop in the 15th century and the last one wrecked in 1827. In its last years, it, along with 6 to 10 others, was used as a tug where it would sail to the big sailing ships in the lower grounds of the Zuidersee at Amsterdam and pushed to the open sea.
