The Conestoga, aka, Prairie Schooner, was a heavy duty covered wagon. It was usually pulled by six or more horses, mules or oxen. It had wider wheel than most wagons and it had a wider suspension. It was driven by a man called a Teamster. It was commonly used to haul freight. This detailed model of the wagon is built in a beer bottle and sits on a custom stand.
