This is a very well made and proportioned buck saw in a bottle with a saw horse and an axe. The buck saw in natural wood with great patina and a metal saw blade. The saw blade is held in tension with a wire tied between the top side supports and a wood slat going through the wire and held tight against a middle support. The saw horse is a darker wood and is made in the classic "A" shape on each end. Across the back of the bottle is an axe in a light colored wood and a metal foil material covering the axe head. The bottle is sealed with a wooden shaft with a small dowel crosspiece making the bottle tamper proof. Outside the bottle is a carve top painted gold. This bottle is 5 1/2" high, 2" wide and 1 1/4" deep. Embossed on the bottom it says "ILLINOIS."
