Bottle 140 - Barque and Tug |
---|
Date Added: 01 October 2005
A wonderful model of a barque being nestled into a village harbor by a steam tug. The ship is very well made and proportioned with excellent rigging. There are cabins and hatches on the deck. The tug is well sized for the scene and has 2 decks and a smoke stack. It is against the bow of the ship. The village has a large lighthouse, church and 6 buildings on a hilly landscape. The sea is a very light blue. The bottle is sealed with a corked cap.
