From the artist: "This bottle is a bar scene with a couple of locals (names withheld). There are the two patrons, the bar, table, and a chair with a cat sleeping under the piano. It is all wood except for the people which is actually a plaster material on tiny wire skeletons, whew. The people had to be done 3 different times as carving was too difficult and at that scale was hard to get it right. Of course all parts made outside of the bottle then inserted and arranged. I rarely build the entire project outside of the bottle then disassemble it. I usually do the major pieces then fit and refit the rest, I kind of laugh at it, guess that's what I tried for. This was built in 2011 in a Chambord bottle 7 inches tall and 4 1/2 wide."
