Bottle 989 - Happy Father's Day
Date Added: 19 June 2012

Father's Day Bottle- This one-of-a-kind impossible bottle is made in a small Ortega mild taco sauce bottle. The opening is 1 3/16". Inside is an old AAA membership cards that is 2 & 1/4" wide. Behind it is your average everyday $1 hole punch with paper catcher (the widest point which is 2 & 1/4" wide) & locked around the hole punch is a 2 & 1/4" diameter metal binder ring which has my father's name on it in wooden alphabet letters, MARVEY WOOD. The fully working hole punch is complete & original in every part including the locking pin & the heavy spring that makes it work, with nothing glued together. Before I put the ring around it, you could pull it up out of the neck & still punch holes in paper but the punch would not come out. If you just take any metal binder ring from a bag of this size & try to open it & insert it in one of these bottles, it will not even go in. However, I did not take this ring apart to put it inside & it is not glued together but is closed just like any other binder ring does. There is no glue in any part of this bottle. The letters all have holes in them & they are fitted around the ring. The letters touch the glass & there is very little room left in the bottle. Keep in mind that if the blocks were put on inside that the ring had to be open & then it had to be put around the hole punch & locked after that! Inside the cap is written in ink, "Made by Chris Wood June 10th, 2012 for Marvey Wood Happy Father's Day! Scottsville, KY LOVE U DAD". I hope he likes it & that you do.
