Bottle 581 - Baby Grand Piano |
---|
Date Added: 20 November 2007
This is a wonderful baby grand piano built in a bottle. The piano is natural dark wood and rests on three large turned legs. The are three foot pedals at the bottom of a harp shaped support. The piano top is open and supported by a wooden rod. The is a piece of sheet music open above the keyboard. The piano is on a green and red braided rug. The following was provided by the artist: "My youngest sister always wanted one. I saw a small wooden kit for a Piano at one of those doll house accessory stores where I started spending a lot of time in buying what I need for my bottles before I learned how to build them myself. I had to modify it though because it was to long and had a lot of trouble making it fit. I gave it to my sister Kendra for a Christmas present in 1982."
