Bottle 405 - Calicem Salutary, Cup of Salvation

This bottle contains a cross and other religious symbols. The contents of the bottle are made from wood in its natural color. The cross has carved ends on the top of the cross and both sides of the cross arm. Mounted on the cross where the cross arm meets the upright is a large colorful paper oblate with a gold chalice and host. The oblate curves up in a circle with 3 gold decorations in a triangular position to the circle. On the ribbon are the words: "Calicem Salutary" which means "the cup of salvation." On the back of the cross is a spear and a sponge in a cross or "x" position and attached at the level of the cross arm. The cross is mounted to a wooden "X" in the shape of glass on the bottom of the bottle. Mounted to the left side of this base is a pair of pliers. To the front of the base is a wooden hammer or mallet. On the back side of the cross is a ladder with 5 rungs. The bottle is sealed with a white plastic screw cap.
