Bottle 330 - La Paloma

This is a model of "La Paloma" anchored at a large city scene. The ship sits in green slightly choppy sea. The bottom of the hull is painted red and the remainder white. On the bow is the name "La Paloma." Both the bow and stern has railing on the raised areas. There are 3 masts with 9 sails in furled position. Atop of the main mast is a red and white banner with the name "Hamburg" on it in black. A German flag flies from the stern rigging. There are several deck features depicted on this model. The city is raised from the sea with a stone wall at shoreline. There is a large red and white lighthouse jutting into the waters edge toward the stern of the ship. Another large red tower is toward the bow end of the ship. Next to it is a raised memorial or signal area with railing all around it. Inside there area is a tall flag pole with 7 large flags and one large banner on the top. There are two large gray building with a tall gray tower between both buildings. There are 50 white houses with red roofs. There is also a large church with a tall steeple to one side. The bottle is sealed with a screw cap and the cap and end of the bottle is painted blue. Under the bottle is written "01.01.1988 Herr Weinberg" the name of the maker and the year made. The bottle rests in a wooden cradle.
