Bottle 1083 - River Dancer Leather Britches
Date Added: 19 July 2013

This is a mechanical bottle scene called "Dancing Cowboy River Dancer Leather Britches." The bottle contains a wonderfully carved and very colorful large cowboy who is attached to a wooden dowel that extends outside the bottle. A spring mechanism allows you to push on the dowel to get the cowboy dancing inside the bottle. The cowboy is wearing a large leather hat, green shirt with a white neck wrap, a brown vest, dark blue pants with yellow leather chaps and brown boots with large spurs. The base is built in three sections of wooden planks. The bottle rests on a custom made round wooden base painted blue with decorative red stack wooden pieces. The title of the bottle "River Dancer Leather Britches" is in raised letters on the base. The following is written on the underside of the base: "Constructed May - June 2013. My 1st live action in a pinch 15 yr. old scotch whiskey 3 sided bottle. Dedicated to memories of C.B. Radio days of the artist, 1960's thru 1980's Skip-Handle "Leather Britches" by Larry W. Liddle."
