Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

My Fantasy Building Project is a fantasy build of Hagar the Horrible inspired by SIBAA president Terry Rogers. As a new member I leartned about the project and got a little bit of a late start but I thought I would share it at this time. - David Paulson

 

The boat is of wood, and the figures I made from Sculpey.

 

As you can see, it's a work in progress as Valkyrie's facial features are not there yet but are close.

 

 

The Sail and shields are made from paper and the oars are bamboo. The mast and yardarm are built from casino toothpicks. 

 

 

The plans are to build the a diorama in the bottle with a castle, waiting to be sacked, high on a hill.
