Bottle 1531 - 11th Century Castle in a Bottle

The model is made with poplar wood, in a 1500 cc. "flask", and is made up of over 50 pieces. It describes and documents a castle from the early Middle Ages (11th century). The castle includes the "keep" which is a solid tower of stones and bricks and is the residence of the lord, surrounded by stables, warehouses, workshops in which weapons were also manufactured and servants' houses, all protected by high walls of walls complete with battlements and surrounded by deep ditches filled with water and surmountable with drawbridges.
