Bottle 1471 - Halve Maen in a Bottle

With this smal ship (25,9 m.) tried Henry Hudson in 1609 to find the northerly way to the East Indies. Stuck in the ice he turned westward to find an alternative route. Sailed a river and thought he found the new passage. This river is now known as Hudson river. Hull, mast and deck: beech and styrene. Sails: tissue/paint. Hours building: 89. Hours tuning rigging: 21.
