This is the "LA Dunton" Gloucester Schooner built in a bottle by Gilbert Charbonneau. The LA Dunton is a 123' McManus-designed Gloucester fishing schooner built by Arthur D. Story and launched in 1921. L. A. Dunton had a long and successful commercial career before her purchase in 1963 and preservation for public view at Mystic Seaport. The scale model is highly detailed with appropriate deck gear, fittings and dories. The rigging is complete with sails included. It is built on a scale of 13 feet to 1 inch.
