Bottle 1054 - Friesland

This is a highly detailed model of the Friesland, a Steam Pail Dredger of 1936. The hull was made in two parts from Linwood. At both ends are placed stud poles to fixed the ship when it was not in use. At the stern there is a winch house and the deckhouse where the steam engine is placed in. There is a gear-box to make the pails go round. The ship has a detailed deckhouse and shelter and on both sides of the hull are Landfill gutters. The dredger pails are made from brass tube 5 mm. The bottleneck size is 29mm. The model measures 178mm long, 85mm high and 58mm wide.
