Rijkswaterstaat is a ship owned in 1915 by Rijkswaterstaat, the department that takes care of all the great waters in- en outside the shore. It is ship for representation, patrol, research and a lot of other things. It was built before the first World War as a yacht but the German client did not pay the boat so it was bought by the Dutch government. It still is in duty but most at the time as a reprehensive ship and the home harbour is Enkhuizen. At first the name was Rijkswaterstaat, later on Noord-Holland and now Rijkswaterstaat I. The look changed in 1981, and 1985 it is restored. The ship is not used at sea anymore. The type is, as we call it a small clipper. The hull is made in two parts. It is standing on 2 brass rods. On deck there are several so called spotlights to get some light in the hull. The block grid on the back whit the mast and flag, the wheelhouse and the predatory where placed later on when the mast was standing. The Ship is 164 mm long by 32 mm wide and 132 mm high. The bottle is 315 mm long by 165 mm high and the bottle neck is 30 mm.
