Hot Springs, Arkansas
Date Added: 28 March 2010
This is a very nice model of a chair in a Karol Syrup bottle. The front and back supports are square shaped and all have a carved top piece. The uprights are painted red on two sides and the carved tops are gray. The stretchers are round and support a seat that is loosely woven with yellow and green threads. There are two stretchers across the chair's back and the top one is painted gray. Between the stretchers is a flat board with the letters "Ark." which stand for Arkansas written in red. The chair fills out the bottle quite well with the uprights extending to the edges of the bottle. The bottle is sealed with a wooden stopper with a long shaft through the neck with a trick "tamper proof" cross piece. On both sides of the cross pieces is written "Hot S." in red, which stands for Hot Springs in Arkansas. Outside the bottle, the top of the shaft has a double square shaped top painted red and gray.
