This is extremely well-made and very detailed Cottage or Chalet built in a bottle. It is a story and a half structure built with individual wood planks. It has a large railed front porch and a wood shake roof. There is a walkout loft balcony on the second floor with a covered wood shake roof. A chimney stovepipe with a top extends from the roof. There are five windows with window panesand two wooden doors. The doors have handles and the front door is opened slightly. It sits on a ground with lots of moss, pinecones and other vegetation and a large tree to one side. It is signed "J Devane 1986" on a small piece of wood on the ground at the back of the house which is the name of the artist and the date it was made. The clear glass bottle with finger/thumb tab on handle is signed NW and number 10 120.
