This was the first complex bottle I made. The landscape was created using Fimo polymer clay, which was inserted in pieces, shaped, and then finally baked in the oven to harden it. The railroad track, house, and church are resin castings of original styrene models, which are in turn based closely on actual structures. The house fit through the bottle opening, less porch and roof, but the church was assembled as a kit of wall sections inside the bottle. The scene is imaginary, but could have been a thousand places in southern West Virginia. Ole Bye
