Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This is a model of the Preussen, a 5 mast full-rigged steel ship built in 1902 by John C. Tecklenburg, Gestemünde. The ships deck has many deck houses and other features. The ship has both standing and running detailed rigging and 39 individual sails. The stand is well made with a life jacket and the bottle is sealed with an anchor extended from the bottle cork.
